Everything it does,
in detail
The full reference. If you only want the short version, the Business phones page covers it in a page. Nothing below is an add-on or a separate licence — it all ships in the system.
Where you answer it
Four places, one extension
The same extension rings in all of them at once. Answer wherever you happen to be; the caller can’t tell the difference and neither can your voicemail.
iOS & Android
Your desk phone, in your pocket
Calls go out showing the business number, so nobody hands a customer their personal mobile. Video, internal chat and WhatsApp replies all work from the app. Calls run over wifi or mobile data rather than your minutes, and they’re encrypted end to end. Works with CarPlay and Android Auto, so the van is covered too.
Any browser
Web client, nothing installed
A browser tab is the whole phone. No VPN, no software on a machine you don’t control, no admin rights needed. Take the call in the browser or use it to drive the handset on your desk. Useful for temps, contractors and anyone on a locked-down laptop.
Windows & Mac
Desktop app
For the people who live on the phone all day. Hotkeys, a persistent window that doesn’t vanish when a browser tab closes, and the switchboard view if they’re supervising a queue.
On the desk
A real handset
Plenty of people still want a phone that is a phone. Supported Yealink, Fanvil, Snom and Grandstream sets provision themselves — plug them into the network and they configure from the server. Conference units, door phones and paging work the same way.
Everything arrives in one place
Five channels, one queue
Most businesses lose messages in the gaps between apps. Somebody’s personal WhatsApp, a Facebook page nobody checks, texts sitting on one person’s phone. All of it lands in the same place as the phone calls, and gets routed and reported the same way.
Every channel is logged centrally, which matters more than it sounds: when someone leaves, the conversation history stays with the business.
Video meetings
You already pay for this. Twice, probably.
Video is part of the phone system, not a separate subscription with its own per-user fee. No time limits, no upgrade prompt at forty minutes, and the person you invite doesn’t install anything — they click a link or dial in from a phone.
Worth checking what you currently spend on a meetings tool before you renew it.
- Up to 250 people in a meeting
- No time cap and no per-user fee
- Join from a browser or dial in by phone
- Screen and PDF sharing, background blur
- Whiteboard, polls, reactions and chat
- Record meetings for training or compliance
- Remote desktop control, useful for support
- Upload materials before anyone joins
- Stream an event live to YouTube
- Recordings stay on your server, not a third party’s
Automation
Call Flow Designer
A visual builder for the calls you’d rather nobody had to answer. You drag the logic together; we’ll build it with you the first time. Text-to-speech and speech-to-text work in 120 languages, so the prompts don’t need a voice artist.
Look the number up before it rings anyone. Account customers skip the menu; everyone else gets triaged.
Hold your place in the queue and hang up. The system calls you back when an agent frees up.
Appointment reminders and confirmations without anyone dialling.
Card details entered on the keypad, so they never sit in a recording or get read out to staff.
Ask the question while it’s fresh, and get a number you can actually track.
Integrations
It knows who’s calling before you pick up
Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics, Freshdesk and most others. If yours isn’t on the list there’s a wizard and an API, and we’ve built integrations for systems nobody else supports.
Microsoft 365 syncs users, contacts and calendars, and presence follows your Teams status.
- The customer record opens as the phone rings
- Past interactions visible before you answer
- Unknown numbers create a contact automatically
- Click a number in the CRM to dial it
- Calls logged against the contact, no typing
- Transcripts attached to the record
Security & uptime
The part you should never have to think about
Phone systems get attacked constantly, because a compromised one can dial premium numbers all weekend before anybody notices. These run whether you’re paying attention or not.
If you run a hotel
Hotel features, no hotel price
Hospitality usually means a dedicated system at a dedicated price. This is built in, and it talks to Micros-Fidelio, Protel and roomMaster. Relevant if you’re running a property anywhere along the coast.
- Check-in and check-out from the PMS or the web client
- Guest extensions, do-not-disturb and scheduled wake-up calls
- External calls blocked in vacant rooms automatically
- Room calls billed through Fidelio; housekeeping updates room status by phone
- Guest chats from your site, WhatsApp or Facebook, convertible to a call
